Historic Kansas City Public Library Adaptive Re-use, Interior and Exterior Rehabilitation

As the Architect of Record for eleven separate interior and exterior rehabilitation projects, STRATA provided comprehensive architectural and historic preservation design services for a total building investment of $5.5 million. The historic palette of materials was integrated into each separate project in conjunction with the new architectural design for the entire building. FF&E Services as well as space planning were provided for the central stair and lobby, and office interiors. All design elements combine to create a space rich with historic accents and a unique, modern environment.
